We partner with Akicita Lakota Veterans on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Our work is overseen by ARU Director Bryan Brewer who lives in the community. We are a boots on the ground organization supporting Veterans with a Food Pantry, gardens, capacity building, and meeting needs of Disabled Veterans. This includes scooters to increase mobility. One of our goals is to purchase a handicapped assessable van to transport disabled Veterans to VA appointments.

We partner with the Deported Veterans Support House Juárez Bunker directed by ARU Board Member Franciso Lopez, a Repatriated U.S. Veteran. Located in Juárez, Mexio, sister city to El Paso, Texas, the support house gives assistance to Exiled U.S. Veterans. We help them to obtain Humanitarian Paroles to return home to their families and the country they honorably served. We provide Veterans with assistance in surviving deportation and accessing earned benefits.

We partner with the Dega Central Highlands Organization, directed by ARU Board member Y'Duen Buendap, in Charlotte, North Carolina. We assist our allies, ftheir families and communities, those who came as refugees to the U.S. after the Viet Nam War. We advocate to State Department officials, the U.S. Consulate in Hanoi and United Nations Peacekeepers to stop ongoing persecution, genocide and human trafficking of the Dega people.
