WE HONOR the courage of Native American veterans
Challenging circumstances exist on many reservations across America, including loss of land and cultural identity compounded by historical traumas. These have led to poverty, alcoholism, addiction and more. Despite this, Native Americans stepped up to serve our country in greater numbers than any other ethnic group.
a united people can not be separated by borders
We recognize the Indigenous heritage of the Americas and honor immigrants fleeing centuries old persecution in their native lands including Europe. Howevhen a Mexican Veteran is deported he is being deported from his traditional land. Much of the U.S. was Mexico at one time. How can one be deported from their own land?
we do not abandon our allies
Dega, Hmong, Afghani, we see you. You are not forgotten. Thank you for your sacrifices that saved the lives of countless American soldiers. They returned home to their families when you did not, especially after being abandoned.
we believe in truth, justice and support of our veterans
The USS Liberty Survivors have shouldered a burden far too heavy to carry for too long- 59 years. They've suffered traumas made worse by enforced silence. Time for truth, time for justice for our Veterans, including shipmates who did not survive.
we're all just walking each other home
I see a time of seven generations when all the colors of mankind will gather under the Sacred Tree of Life and the whole earth will become one circle again.
